Day 336: He was worse when we first met

Dancing to the tune of Lovely Ladies from Les Miserables.
Skirt: Urban Outfitters. All I'm asking for for christmas is more clothes. Friends, I have a problem.
Sweater/Shirt: H&M. Does anyone else love Big Bang Theory? YES. It's so funny it hurts a little.
Purse: Thrifted. My go to lovely.
Tights: Target. I'm asking for 6 pairs of tights this christmas. My legs are about to get awesome.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Day 335: It's not enough to make the legos move, they have to make you feel

People keep pulling on my strings. Aka pushing my buttons. BUT LITERALLY.
Sweater vest/tshirt: Johannah's. I'm covered in cozy red tones.
Dress: American Apparel. You can tell that I've guard tonight because of the excessive amounts of spandex blend.
Belt: Scarlett's.
Leggings: Target.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Day 334: The closer the family the closer to the wine

I find that I have no reason to wake up on school days that aren't Tuesday or Thursday. Aka without winterguard I'm BORED.
Blouse: Thrifted. This blouse is a scrappy little bugger and has a penchant for coming undone while walking through the halls with cute boys or doing english assignments with delightfully eye having/using  folk.
Sweater/skirt: Johannah's. These items are just confusing in their fit and on occasion like to fall into strange shapes that ruin the mood of the outfit.
Necklace: Scarlett's.
Tights: Target.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Day 333: This show is only for now

Tonight I saw Avenue Q with my voice teacher. It wasn't a professional production in the traditional sense. Instead it was a group of teens in an extracurricular theater program who have a professional instructor and put on productions that are usually barred from highschools for their pearl-clutch-worthy content. Hence Avenue Q.
T shirt: Broadway Across America. The show was really wonderful and reminded me why I love musicals. The entire experience reminded me of RENT and how lovely it is. Missin' you Johnny.
Blouse: Thrifted. Cutesy because that's the traditional dress to casual theater. Duh.
Skirt: Johannah's.
Headband: Voice teacher's. Of course. She's the best.
Leggings: Target.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Day 332: You're back again but different than before

Falling slowly, evidently.
Shrug: Forever 21. I look happy but I'm dying of exhaustion on the outside.
Leotard: American Apparel. Comfortable.
Skirt: Johannah's.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Day 331: Somewhere in your left pinky toe

Aren't I just an angel? Today is thanksgivingx2! Yesterday was Thanksgiving at my dad's and today it's at me mam's. What a thrill it is to be thankful.
Blouse/Sweater vest: Thrifted. So much food has been eaten in the last 24 hours. Specifically green began (bean and vegan combined because I'm FUNNY and CLEVER) casserole.
Skirt: H&M. Restricting any strange yelling or bursting.
Pin: Voice teacher's. Got to have a cat.
Thigh highs: Target. Cute stuff. I bought these hoping they were normal socks and low and behold they were Goddess' gift to human kind! As the song says, she works in mysterious ways.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Thursday, November 24, 2011

Day 230: I see you started a small business

New dress! I got it from my math tutor and I'm shocked that it fits me because I'm a good foot taller than my tutor.
Dress: Tutor. I'm cute. She's awesome. What a good pair.
Jacket: Johannah's. Just being all casual.
Leggings: Target. I'm not afraid to admit I only own one pair of leggings. I may wear them everyday.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Wednesday, November 23, 2011

Day 329: You collect pins, right?

Why do I look such a mess?
Dress (looks like a shirt but it's a dress, I promise): H&M. I need to go shopping. Your sick of these clothes.
Skirt: India. Because I'm fun. And cultured.
Necklace: Scarlett.
Leggings: Target. I was dancing around my house, hence the needing of leggings.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Tuesday, November 22, 2011

Day 328: This is one goddamn bitch of an unsatisfactory situation

Today I taught my cousin how to knit. Let the young teach their elders.
Button down: H&M. I skipped school today because last night me mam, Liam, my cousin, and myself decided to watch Brokeback Mountain and I was too emotionally broken to bear the thought of school.
Dress: Delia's. Now I have to finish Unbearable Lightness of Being really quick so I can start Brokeback Mountain (short story) and kill my faith in the human race a little more.
Bow: Vintage shop. I miss Jack. And Ennis. And Elma. And ALL OF THEM.
Leggings: Target.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Monday, November 21, 2011

Day 327: LAMB STEW

My cousin is in town and so far all we've done is be in love with leggings. We're very cool, clearly.
Sweater: Thrifted. Would you be surprised to learn that I only have one Christmas sweater? ME TOO.
Scarf: Johannah's. This was a gift to her and now it has been bequeathed to me. I'm so honored.
Skirt: Gap.
Leggings/shoes: Target.

Sunday, November 20, 2011

Day 326: Subject appears to be miserable

Today I sang at a recital held by my voice teacher. I'm so cool.
Dress: H&M. I'm supposed to be appropriately dressy and charming. My cousin is coming from california today. I haven't seen her in a very, very long time.
Sweater: Johannah's. Why do all of her sweaters have holes in them? What was she DOING
Tights/shoes: Target.

Friday, November 18, 2011

Day 325: Yeast

I'm sick all of the time. Yay. I guess that means wearing pants?
Sweater: Delia's. And writing really short posts without any real content. Yay.
Dress: H&M.
Pants: Old Navy.
Shoes: Target.

Thursday, November 17, 2011

Day 324: They want to warn him.

I look cute/edgy/like-I-care.
Turtle neck: thrifted. This is always an item of shame to me. I detest turtle necks but I adore this one.
Sweater: Urban Outfitters. Charming and cute.
Skirt: Forever 21.
Headband: Homemade. I DIY'd, like a boss.
Tights: Nordstrom.
Shoes: Dr. Martens.

Wednesday, November 16, 2011

Day 323: When did this happen, Jenny?

Today I gave myself a make over with the help of http://rookiemag.com/2011/11/cat-eye-tutorial/ I'M SO COOL.
Sweater/dress: Johannah's. I miss you, sugar.
Pin: Voice teacher. I'm cool, you know that.
Tights: Target.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Tuesday, November 15, 2011

Day 322: What would happen to you if tomorrow I were knocked down by a tram?

May I just say, I love winterguard. I'm more bruised than a peach that went skiing but didn't know how to and fell a lot.*
Sweater: Urban outfitters. Charming lady, I am.
Dress: Johannah's. All day I've had to hike up my sweater to prove to people that I don't look like I'm not wearing anything but a sweater.
Scarf: Mother's. I feel like I'm in a movie where the light comes sepia colored.
Leggings/shoes: Target. All I wanna do is roll on the ground with my guard friends and smile till I ache.

Monday, November 14, 2011

Day 321: In the window frame

I haven't updated in forever because every time I attempt to my blog breaks. SO. My excuses are amazing and you care a lot. Thanks, friends!
Shirt/vest: Thrifted. Because of that ^ my next few posts will be short.
Belt: Homemade.
Skirt: Johannah's.
Tights: Target.
Shoes: Dr. Martens.

Sunday, November 13, 2011

Day 320: Oh my oh my the sky the sky

Today I wore a scarf, but while I was cooking it caught on fire. So I've now deemed it bad luck and won't wear it for a season.
Sweater vest: Thrifted. Luckily, this gem was not incinerated.
Cardigan/under shirt thingy: Johannah's. This sweater does not shine in the darkness like yesterday's pants. What a shame.
Skirt: H&M. Because I miss it but think it inappropriate for school.
Tights/shoes: Target. I feel so uncomfortable if I go shoe first. Is that a disorder?

Saturday, November 12, 2011

Day 319: Angels are bright still, though the brightest fell.

I ushered at Macbeth tonight and I got many strange faces from the play-goers for my legs. I wanted to yell at them about how the craziness was only just getting started and to wait for the actual play, but I thought that would seem indecent and unprofessional.
Disco pants: American Apparel. I'm in love with these pants because they are one of few items of clothing that retains its awesomeness when the lights go down and the flashes of cameras start. If you are wondering why I'm caressing my thighs, it's because they are honestly that soft.
Sweater: H&M. I thought this would balance the pants and because I wanted to stay in contact with my comfy self. She can never be allowed to stray too far.
Blouse: Thrifted. I never thought to utilize this collar thus and now I feel like a perfect fool. It's my now favorite collar and will be worn accordingly. Aka all the time.
Pin: Voice teacher's. The play was awesome, btw. It was the most intense play I've yet seen.
Socks/shoes: Target.

Friday, November 11, 2011

Day 318: Everything sounds deep and important when I say it in French

Hey Caitrin, how's having smooth and luxuriously soft legs going? Oh, you're accidentally participating in No-Shave-November due to laziness? COOL.
Dress: Gabriel Brothers. Hot damn this is one fall-centric photo. Look at my pumpkins and leaves and saucy expression!
Sweater: Urban Outfitters. I value comfort more than having a body. Some laugh but I think it's one of my better qualities.
Socks: Target. Maybe I'm a school girl? Maybe I'm just cold and confused and sick of tights?
Necklaces: Thrifted pearls and the long missed Kiwi Necklace. I haven't donned you in months, old friend.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Thursday, November 10, 2011

Day 317: You make less sense a sad clavical

Two break throughs: I can wear leg warmers with Docs and retain self respect, I can belt this sweater and not cry with my own idiocy at the notion.
Sweater: Urban Outfitters. I need to start thinking about winter solstice gifts, don't I? In a month I'll be stressing over it, don't you worry.
Dress/leg warmers: H&M. I was so tired in physical science that I may have accomplished nothing and fallen asleep, only to be woken up by the warning bell.
Belt: Homemade. I'm currently knitting a Hufflepuff scarf for my sister. She's so lucky.
Tights: Target.
Shoes: Dr. Martens

Wednesday, November 9, 2011

Day 316: "Hashtag 'IT'S TIME TO BE NICE NOW'"

"Caitrin, you match!"-everyone I saw today. YAY.
Sweater: H&M. I'm fast running out of clothes at my dad's house but that's okay because I'm going back to me mam's tomorrow, where clothes run free and wild.
Dress: Delia's. This looks like a night gown when not belted. Don't believe me? Ask the dishes.
Belt: American Apparel. Fun and flirty.
Tights: Gap. Heheh these were CHEAP.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Tuesday, November 8, 2011

Day 315: Never, it's these woods

Today I was forced to spend time with nature. I'm still shaken by the memory. But one positive thing occurred, I now want a long board. Make it happen, someone!
Skirt: India? I went to an outdoor market downtown and I bought a skirt that is SO COOL it hurts a little. Except, y'know, it doesn't actually cause me pain because that would be weird.
Shirt: Forever 21. This outfit was so flow-y and lovely and smiley and "I'm on something except not" -y that all I accomplished today was dancing around with a flag in my front yard. Good day.
Sweater: Johannah. Have a sister for warmth and a baker for bread and a prince for whatever.
Leggings: Target. I didn't want to wear these, but I figured they were a necessity in the woods.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Monday, November 7, 2011

Day 314: Did it come from space? We just don't know?

Guard auditions are in a little over a week. YAY LIFE!
Jacket: Guard. Don't worry, I'll keep this little gem all through the winter.
Dress/belt: H&M. The result of having almost no clothes. Yay!
Shirt: American Eagle. This shirt looks like Christmas morning.
Tights: Nordstrom.
Shoes: Dr. Martens.

Sunday, November 6, 2011

Day 313: Sure, aisle 17

Remember that time I wore an attractive yet comfortable outfit that captured the essence of my style without my having to sacrifice my ease and coziness? I don't remember that either. Also, this style of opening with a question then answering it for the reader was shown to my in the book Unbearable Lightness of Being and it drives me crazy. I am sorry for your loss.
Shirts/sweater: Johannah's. Lookin' good girl.
Skirt: Urban Outfitters. All I did today was read Unbearable and complain about it/be obsessed with it/love it/hate it.
Leggings: Target. I should just skip the leggings and go straight to covering myself with cat hair. That'd make it easier for all of us.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Saturday, November 5, 2011

Day 312: Pilgrims couldn't be from space.

Accomplishing nothing. Looking like I do. Loving everything.
Lace shirt/skirt: Forever 21. I will always be this way. ALWAYS.
Sweater: Urban Outfitters. 1607 was a MEGA YEAR. Look it up, batch of cookies.
Tights: Nordstrom. Winning.
Shoes: Dr. Martens.

Friday, November 4, 2011

Day 311: No fair, we already went to church

I have a guard dinner tonight. We're going to Panera and we're going to have fun. You're jelly as helly.
Dress: Johannah's. I had a lot of fun at the dinner. There was no drama (there never is but that's always nice).
Vest: Thrifted. I wish I could sing the word 'easy' like Joanna Newsom.
Button down: H&M.
Leggings: Target.
Shoes: Dr. Martens.

Thursday, November 3, 2011

Day 310: Learning yearning burning

"Preposterous" said mine eye.
Shirt/skirt: Hojypoo. I could live in a mishmash of prints and a variety of colors but who has the energy? Only on a particular Wednesday can I muster it.
Sweater: Urban Outfitters. I can tell you from my current state of being that this is one comfy son of a bitch.
Tights: Target.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Wednesday, November 2, 2011

Day 309: Is this what a popsicle dances about?

I look like something is killing me softly.
Sweater: Urban Outfitters. Not giving a damn and remaining happy as a clam.
Shorts: Forever 21. Wearing almost one color is fun and exciting, right? People will still like me, right?
Head band: Anne Taylor. Because I'm 44 years old.
Pin: Grandmother's. A sign of life.
Leggings: Target.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Tuesday, November 1, 2011

Day 308: I don't think you did it, but I think you know who did

Ever get the feeling you're cozy and don't care if you've basically worn this before but with a different tank top?
Tank top/belt: Johannah's. Don't you love the first of november?
Dress/leg warmers: H&M. The epitome of coziness.
Sweater: Urban Outfitters.
Tights: Target.
Shoes: Old Navy.
