Day 91: With a la and la la.

Up, up, and away.
Sweater: Thrifted. It is appropriate that my sweater has balloons on it, because I felt floaty and free all day. Even if this outfit does make me look dumpy as hell.
Skirt: American Eagle. I swear I have a waist, okay. It's there.
Tights/socks: Target.
Belt: Ralph Lauren.
Necklace: New Zealand. Whenever I write that I feel like NZ is just one (sort of) big store.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Day 90: If the end were near I'd be able to see it from my bangs

I'm not sure what I'm trying to prove with this outfit, I'm guessing I had some hidden message because of the expression, but who really knows with me. I'm a lone reed.
Sweater: Urban Outfitters.
Skirt: American Eagle.
Necklace: New Zealand.
Tights: J. Crew.
Socks: Target.
Shoes: Old Navy. Sorry this post is so short and dull, but at least it matches the skirt.

Day 89: The lord beholds it and is pleas'd.

Today I got an A on a math test, so I got a sticker. The sticker was a huge disappointment and has inspired me to become a math teacher and give out stickers that say, "Achieve'd is their glorious work!" and then turn on 'Achieve'd is The Glorious Work' by Haydn when I hand out the A tests. These stickers will be glittery, but I'm pretty sure that's obvious.
Sweater: Urban Outfitters. Soft and sweet.
Dress: H&M. This looks like a huge lurker in the outfit, but honestly, I'd change nothing.
Necklace (I was subconsciously holding it, as always): New Zealand. It's always in my hands or on my heart. (God I'm a douche.)
Tights/socks: Target.
Bracelets: Homemade. This outfit is repping the homemade. Go me!
Shoes: Old Navy. Look at me in different shoes!

Monday, March 28, 2011

Day 88: She is hilarious, she is wonderful, a beam of light in this dark, dark office

I look as impressionable as I feel.
Skirt: American Eagle. You know how I liked the skirt high-waisted? I much prefer it long. This is such a breezy skirt, it has made me begin to value the covered up thing.
Blouse: Thrifted. It's just like magic. You can see the whole blouse in all its splendor...minus the arms.
Sweater: Urban Outfitters. This is me being aware of the weather.
Necklace: New Zealand. I'm still being questioned over this. When will people understand how magic it makes me feel? Fool of a Took (Lord of the Rings reference.)
Purse: Forever 21.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Sunday, March 27, 2011

Day 87: Pancake attack

This outfit was built in a solid 5 minutes. Though for me, that's really all it takes. Unless it's a special occasion or I'm building it for someone else or for a theme. There are many exceptions.
Red button down: Old Navy. I've worn this before but I like it much more this time around. I love collared shirts. I may buy a polo. Be ware.
Tshirt: Target. I'm wearing a v-neck. That means I'm sexy, right?
Sweater: Old Navy. I think I look like spring today, which is perfect because today finally feels like spring. It's 34 and sunny.
Necklace: New Zealand. I got dressed really fast today, as stated above, and because of that I almost forgot this necklace. I'm still recovering from the trauma.
Skirt: Forever 21. Obvz.
Tights/socks: Target.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls. Wow I need more variation.

Saturday, March 26, 2011

Day 86: Count on local 12. The weather authority.

It. Is. So. Cold. My hair is a curly mess but it's all just Bolshevik anyway.
Sweater: H&M. It's a weekend and I'm wearing my study-like-hell sweater....EXAM WEEK! Monday is the beginning of exam week. Aren't you excited? Doesn't matter, I still have to take them.
Dress: Target. I love this dress. I went to my friend's house to study and I felt extremely appropriate.
Necklace: New Zealand. I'm just not gonna take this off. It's really not fair for me to start caring about matching.
Tights/socks: Target.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls. These shoes are just getting annoying. But they work for everything.

Friday, March 25, 2011

Day 85: Please, extend your defense.

Oh how I enjoy Fridays. I enjoy them more when people don't incessantly yell about Rebecca Black, but we must all choose our battles. My friend who calls me a Socialist, whom I call a Fascist, was shocked at how matchy I am today. I still don't know how to feel about it.
Yellow tank top: American Apparel. This is actually a dress, but I do really admire clothes that pick no team. I feel like I'm wearing Anthony Rapp. (Best reference I've ever made, go read his book.)
Skirt: American Eagle. Too much patriotism in the store titles today, eh?
Tshirt under everything else: Old Navy. Stretched but free.
Necklace: New Zealand key chain. Someone told me I'm always playing with this during class. I had no idea. I'm not convinced, seems a tad sketchy.
Belt: Thrifted.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls.

Thursday, March 24, 2011

Day 84: Awful sweet to be a green fruit

A collision of prints, if I may be permitted to say so. My father was most displeased at my (almost) bare legs and (partly) nude arms. But to each their own.
Sweater: Target. If my closet was World War 1, this sweater would be France.
Tshirt: Warner Bro's. As in, Harry Potter Merch. I love wearing this with various sweaters because I hold the firm belief that this is a fancy tshirt.
Button down (you can only see the collar): Forever 21. I did not buy this thinking "this will be the collar everyone dreams of!" but that's exactly but it has become. And yes, I'm using the Royal Everyone.
Necklace: NZ Keychain. Okay, I know you can barely see it, but just imagine yesterdays post on a chain. I got so many questions, many people didn't know what a Kiwi bird is, one guy had never heard of New Zealand, and many people were confused why anyone would like this country. No one received a satisfactory answer. Simply the rantings of an impassioned vegan.
Shorts: Delia's. These have gotten shorter or I've gotten taller. I'm praying for the former.
Tights/socks: Target.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls.

Wednesday, March 23, 2011

Day 83: It's SO not a big deal

I know, I know, my legs are awkward and people are sick of them after barely a week of them showing. But honestly, I'll never stop. I'm a free bitch, baby.
Skirt: H&M. Someone thought this is a dress, and I'm like "The one time it's not a dress. Bastard."
Blouse (under everything): Forever 21. Softest piece of clothing, ever.
Sweater: Costco. For anyone who doesn't know what Costco is, it is a warehouse that mostly sells barrels of things no one needs, such as: Mustard, rice, jam, dog beds, and everything in between.
Belt: Thrifted.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Oh and I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but I have a deep love for New Zealand, for reasons I consider obvious. I was given a keychain today with THIS magic on it! Guess who's jazzed as hell? ME. Guess who will be turning it into a necklace because they always lose their keys? ME. Guess who's married to a Kiwi? ME.

Tuesday, March 22, 2011

Day 82: Kathy, with a C or a K?

Simpleton doing simple things, wearing simple clothes, thinking simple things.
Dress: Delia's. Mayhaps I've worn this too many times to be a first credit?
Blouse: Forever 21. We're all bored by Forever. But it's impossible to ignore this store, it has the best (aka cheapest) prints. I love loose layers, oh yes I do.
Sweater: Delia's. You'll notice a pattern in these credits. I love this sweater, though. It's so perfectly not awkward. Normally I prefer things that ARE awkward.
Bag: Forever 21. (See, here's that pattern thing showing up.)
Pin: Vintage, my grandmothers.
Socks/glasses: Target.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Monday, March 21, 2011

Day 81: Hot, hot, heat. Sweat, sweet.

Legs. Arms. Sunshine. This can't be Ohio in March. I'm actually somewhat annoyed at the weather, it's getting hot in spring, the amount of sense that makes is 4 out of 20.
Skirt: Forever 21. This has become my "I love this outfit" skirt. Every time I wear it I get a weird high. I also get called a ho by my friends less, so I don't have to yell "stop slut shaming!" so much. Win-win-win.
Lace button down (under swearer): H&M. I never wear this has a button down, or at least this conventionally. I mean, I'm basically a professor in this outfit.
Sweater vest: Thrifted. First day of school vest. Someone recognized it from the first day for the first time today! Felt so cool. I thought I was the only one who could remember that far back, clothes wise.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls. You'll most likely notice how much simpler these outfits are as the weather loses its charming coldness, it's because layers keep you warm and I have no need for clothing warmth when the weather is supplying it. But I will miss my layers. Goodbye lovely winter layers, you will be missed.

Day 80: Hello jelly

My face has gotten insufferable. I really do apologize. But I can't help it, I'm gonna be forced to quote Harry in When Harry Met Sally when he says "Well, it is my face."
Dress: Target. We have all gotten sick of this dress when it's UNDER sweaters, but I've become a tricksy hobbit, I'm wearing it OVER my new red sweater. And for that and that alone it gets cited first.
Sweater: Thrifted. I was so close to not getting this, but I always need sweater vests and this is honestly top notch. I'm so into it. It's a vneck and it's really awkwardly shaped, so I'll wear it over/under everything. My closet just took a deep breath.
Thigh highs: Target. My legwear, it lacks variation in citation but rules my world in color changes.
Purse: Thrifted. I'm sorry that this post has gone Target, thrift, Target thrift...I'll change it up soon. Promise.
Sweater (worn over dress): Thrifted. See? My word is worth its weight in gold.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls.

Saturday, March 19, 2011

Day 79: Where is Laura? Winning a wager.

You're about to see some serious Caitrin leg.
Skirt: American Eagle. I think. I got this from my sister, she didn't like how it looks high waisted, I only liked it on me.
Wrap thing: Thrifted. This honestly makes me feels like magic. I'm sorry that my limbs are showing. It makes me feel weird, too.
Tshirt: Target. I hung out with Laura today, and it was fecking magical. Though it should be noted that this is the most simple outfit I've ever worn in Laura's presence. No regrets.
Belt: Thrifted. Happiness.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls.

Friday, March 18, 2011

Day 78: Oh how I'd love to rap for you

Today was the funniest day of school. For reasons I can't explain.
Skirt: Urban Outfitters. New skirt! I'm loving this thing. The pockets are like nothing I've ever seen. It also fits perfectly. The most excellent length, also.
Striped shirt: Forever 21. This is a really tight shirt. But I love it.
Tshirt under everything: Old Navy. This was bought a size too small which is wonderful because now it has 3-quarter length sleeves!
Tights: J. Crew. My rich girl tights, duh.
Blazer: Forever 21.
Socks: Target.
Belt: Thrifted, Ralph Lauren.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls.
Sorry this post is so short and lame. I have no funny in me. I'm exhausted. But so, so cheery.

Thursday, March 17, 2011

Day 76: You and I, together.

These last few faces have sucked, I'm sorry. But I'm in love with this outfit. It may not seem very interesting, but I love it.
Sweater: Thrifted. I think this is so classy. Like, the classiest thing I own.
Scarf: American Apparel. "Borrowing" this from my sister. I'm so into the color and it's huge. I think it's really attractive because of how into the yellow-orange pallet I am.
Dress (under everything else): H&M. It's getting sort of grossly obvious. But y'know, feck it.
Purse: Thrifted. I think this is the first time I've worn this on the blog, but it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. I'm really into it. It was the first purse I ever thrifted. Oh purse virginity.
Ribbon: The floor of my room. Hell yeah.
Socks: Target.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls.

Wednesday, March 16, 2011

Day 75: I don't feel able to run.

Ignore my expression. This is an excellent example of why I don't smile in these pictures.
Blazer: Delia's. I love everything about this blazer. There is nothing that needs to be said.
Skirt: Forever 21. I was called slutty (by my friends) way too many times. It's honestly not worth the trouble. I'll make this a bianual skirt.
Socks/tights: Target.
Sweater: Forever 21. You know how I can't wear just one shirt? Well, this sweater doesn't agree with me on that front and is so awkward to layer. Otherwise I love it.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang.

Tuesday, March 15, 2011

Day 74: I'm very upset, I get nervous.

I know, I know; I look grody as hell. But you got to believe me when I say that I'm just a really grody person.
Tights: Anthropologie. I love these tights. I feel so free in them.
Skirt: H&M. Just see any post where I've worn this.
Jacket: Forever 21. I've never worn this for the blog and I'm proud to wear now. It looks really nice with this skirt.
Shirt: Thrifted. Mixing these textures are heavenly.
Socks: Target.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Monday, March 14, 2011

Day 73: So far away. I really did.

It's the obvious joke that must be made; WELCOME TO THE GUN SHOW!
Charlemagne: Thrifted. I'm gonna start leaving out the 'sweater' part and make him solely known as what he is; the wild beast Charlemagne. (I've gotten really good at spelling that).
Dress: American Apparel. This dress is sort of grody, but it's so soft and it looks so tan against my ivory slaps of body that I'm sort of in love with it. But only the Bachelor kind of love. Not the Room With A View kind of love that adore so.
Tights/socks: Target. Just so beautiful. Is it just me or are the tights getting purple-er?
Shoes: Target. I think outfits that involve Charlemagne are generally simpler. Which is a good thing. I need some simplicity in the form of a Cinci tiger, right?

Sunday, March 13, 2011

Day 72: Those words were so powerful, they forgot the rum

I visited my mother's church today, so I wore my Sunday Best. I didn't even know I have Sunday Best. But evidently, I came prepared to party; Baptist style.
Button down: Thrifted. I love how this looks like a stain glass window, I hate how awkwardly cut this is. It seemed SO PERFECT on the rack, but whenever I wear it I'm filled with the overwhelming sense of "Oh. That's it?" It has been a tad disappointing to say the least. But I think I need to wear it with my petti-coat to reach the affect I'm so desperately searching for.
Blouse (under button down): Thrifted. I'm obsessed with this blouse. Even though the neck is uncomfortable due to my phobia with neck touching, and even though it sheds on everything, which is honestly a nuisance, even though those reprehensible issues, I'm still more in love with this than any other blouse I've thrifted.
Dress: Delia's. I'll say it again, I need new dresses to pretend are skirts.
Necklace: Target. I'm loving this on the blouse.
Tights: J. Crew. My rich girl tights.
Purse: Thrifted.
Socks: Target.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Saturday, March 12, 2011

Day 71: Oh and look at the lovely megashark!

I doubt you can see my bandaid'd leg, but my left leg is wounded. I walked into a nail. Whoever said rocking chairs are safe, easy fun lied. My injured leg (spirit) is proof.
Skirt: Old Navy. I think. Ask Johannah. Who is coming home from college with my brother soon! The Pod family is coming together again! ~Unnecessary personal info~
Sweater: Urban Outfitters. Happiness is being able to go on a walk in the rich neighborhood that actually has sidewalks up the road and NOT wear a coat. This sweater was my armor. All the armor I need.
Socks: Target. I love how these look as knee highs, normally I do the thigh high thing, but I'm feeling exotic right now.
Tshirt (under sweater): Target. I'd like to point out how I've been unknowingly making a sadface every time I do the parenthesis. Random bursts of emotion are being snuck into my posts.
Bow: Michaels Craft Store. I'm afraid I'll always wear this bow with this sweater...I'm also afraid I don't mind in the least.
Shoes: Target. Peter Pan shoes.

Friday, March 11, 2011

Day 70: You are the sweetest ones I have ever laid my eyes upon

No pants, thank god. I've never felt better in my tights. This is such an easy outfit for me. I love wearing it. It's a joy to wear clashing colors. Freshpeople be damned, this is what it means to be high.
Tights/socks: Target. They get first credit for the first time because this is a post of appreciation for my dear, dear tights and socks. Yesterday I wore jeans and my feet went commando. Today I'm double bagging my feet and my legs are nicely covered in my loyal purple monsters. As they should be. Thank you, tights and socks. I'll never leave you again.
Sweater: Thrifted. People had a jolly good time trying to figure out what this print is. The general consensus was that they're heart shaped balloons. Aka they're perfect.
Dress: H&M. This dress is definitely too easy. But it's never wrong. Like listening to Joanna Newsom. (Seriously, go listen to Jackrabbits by Joanna Newsom. You'll start a new (better) chapter in your life.)
Bracelets: Homemade. These were found just like the others but they're different looking and I love them equally. Even if these are soops uncomfortable and the others are perfect.
Purse: Thrifted. This is a duh of a purse.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls. Yep, definitely over wearing these shoes. ~no regrets~

Also, I don't mean to be a douche (cause I'm NEVER a douche other than right now) but if you haven't already heard text REDCROSS to 90999 and donate $10 to send relief for Japan. It'll make you feel good and will help people! Or you'll feel the same and you'll help people! Win-win. Mediocreishwin-win!

Thursday, March 10, 2011

Day 69: This means jeans.

There's a reason you can't see my legs....JEANS. NO! YES! I'm actually really sad about it, but it had to be done. The thought of putting tights on this morning made me want to cry/die. The reaction of my peers was enthusiastic and intrusive. That was the only positive.
Jeans: H&M. First timers get the first credit. Even if they are jeans. My legs look so awkward in jeans, I'm really sorry to subject you to them. But perhaps you should get used to them, I have.
Purple blouse: Thrifted. This pairing of tops came about because of my clothes rack (which is actually the image in my banner^); I was staring blankly at my clothes rack and these two gems were next to each other, so I put them on together. I'm really pleased with how it folds and the lengths. Nice work, Clothes Rack!
Bracelets: Homemade. Still obsessed.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls. I think I'm overdoing it on these shoes to get back at myself for overdoing it on my gold shoes. Caitrin, find balance.

Wednesday, March 9, 2011

Day 68: Braced and ready.

No school today, I'm still really sick and gross. But I have a choir concert today and I'm not wearing this but that mean I had to vacate my sweats and sweater, so I eased my way through. This outfit is relatively unflattering so bear with me.
Sweater: H&M. I'm so into this baby. It never ceases to amaze me how warm it is. It looks like so little fabric, but what that little fabric accomplishes is mighty.
Dress: Target, I believe. This dress is reminiscent of a nightgown so it felt the obvious choice to act as middle ground.
T shirt (under everything else): Broadway Across America. If you're getting close to asking if I have any tshirts that AREN'T musical related, then your answer is no. And that is a proud, defiant no.
Bracelets: Homemade. I got a lovely little jewelry box when I was 9 and it came with this bracelet making kit. Guess who just looked in said box and freaked out with joy? This vegan! I love them.
Rings: Toy vending machine thing from Kroger when I was 9. 9 was a good year for me, jewelry wise.
Boots: Target. I'm rather comfortable in my boots.

Tuesday, March 8, 2011

Day 67: You cannot come and see me.

I'm wearing pants! Don't get too excited, it'll happen more this week because I'm...SICK. It sucks. I've bee unable to play piano, wearing attractive clothes, tastes food that isn't tea or cereal. But on the bright-side I've gotten to watch loads of movies. Oh and miss school today. But I've taken my weight in non prescription drugs and I'm going crazy from dayquill.
Pants: Old Navy. Honestly, I mostly wore sweats all day because I felt so horrid but when I went to the doctor I had to make myself a tad more presentable. And I can't wear sweats in front of you, dear.
Tshirt: Broadway Across America (as always, if you know a better source please tell me). I was hoping the power of my one true love, RENT, would make me better. It only worked on morale.
Purse: I'm just so obsessed with this purse. It makes everything feel so much more put together.
Sweater: Old Navy. Taking this off feels like being slapped.
Headband: Forever 21. I wore this to the doctor, I got a compliment or two. They thought I was really fancy, I thought I was underdressed. But isn't that how it always goes?
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls.

Monday, March 7, 2011

Day 66: Mercy me, the night is long.

I'm so so tired right now. That's partly why I'm so boringly dressed and having such terrible hair. I look a bit of a fool.
Tights: American Apparel. I love these tights for their looks, but as for their feel it's a tad unpleasant.
Socks: Urban Outfitters. If you've seen me in these socks any other time, you'll know how strongly I feel about old faithful.
Dress (under sweater): Target. I'm bored by my dresses. I really need to go dress/skirt shopping. I'd probably be less bored if I wore shorts/pants more.
Sweater: Urban Outfitters. Really cozy n shit.
Pearls: Thrifted. Duh.
Pin: Vintage, my grandmother's.
Hair clip: Goody Barrettes.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls.

Sunday, March 6, 2011

Day 65: Weathering Wuthering.

I know the folds/creases are painful, but I only brought a limited amount of clothes with me and so I had to get creative. Exhibit A: I'm wearing a dress as a blouse so I can wear this skirt and not have another painfully dull outfit.
Skirt: Forever 21. This old lady hasn't been worn since the first day of the blog! Oh memories, oh innocence. How life moves on and certain pieces get forgotten. I only accidentally brought this skirt with me. Thank goodness the goddess knows whats up.
Dress: Delia's. I would be more proud of my budding creative abilities if the creases and lack of smoothness wasn't horribly apparent and distracting. Forgive me, for I have underpacked.
Sweater: Delia's. Kind of lame to wear this again so soon, but this is my last day here and I was running out of options. Probably explains why my expression is so dreary and my outfit sort of matches?
Belt: Thrifted, Ralph Lauren. I'll always point that out because I'm a loser.
Socks/tights: Target. Please don't yell at me for the redundancy. It'll be better tomorrow.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Saturday, March 5, 2011

Day 64: The silence of life had been broken by Miss Bartlett, who stood brown against the view.

Color pop; finally! I hung out with Laura today, so I had to wear my Saturday With A Ginger best.
Fair Isle sweater: Delia's. Due to my and Laura's dream of living in England, I had to wear something that England has given the world. This was all I could come up with.
Blouse (under sweater): Thrifted. Happiness. The sleeves, much like these, are glorious. I actually prefer these because of how sturdy they are. Laura and I had to run through pouring rain my sleeves were working harder than I could have ever dreamed. They did not falter.
Skirt: H&M. I think I may have a love affair with this fabric. It makes me so joyous and it, like the sleeves, is sturdy as hell. It has a strange hemline, which only adds to its abundant charm.
Tights/socks: Target.
Purse: Thrifted. This purse is finally holding something other than my phone and lipstick!
Shoes: Old Navy. I lied yesterday, I'll never stop giving these old dears their due.

Oh and I just finished A Room With A View and I've come to the realization that I will never be able to fall in love because no man is as good as George Emerson. And I refuse to settle for anything but George Emerson. The moment I finished it I thought to myself "No one will know if I just start it over, will they? I could just keep reading and pretend I'm Lucy." But then I remembered that Wuthering Heights was waiting for me in my room so I parted with my one true love. It was hard. I'm still recovering.
P.S. Sorry for all the italics.

Friday, March 4, 2011

Day 63: Ask and you will recieve.

I know this is a dull outfit, so bear with me. But It's really comfortable and I'm hoping my Avenue Q shirt will make up for some of the "Why am I looking at this when she looks so painfully dull" feeling.
Avenue Q shirt: Broadway Across America, I believe. As with all of my musical shirts, if someone knows a better source, please alert me.
Sweater: Old Navy. I bought this originally because I was seeing Wicked (my first every musical, I was so innocent) and I was scolded when I didn't have any green in my outfit. Now it is my resident comfy, sturdy, make fun of this sweater and die, sweater.
Pearls: Target. I'm loving these black pearls. They make even the most plain ensemble feel like home.
Tights/socks: Target. At the very least I have my legwear.
Shoes: Old Navy. I may stop crediting these for the duration of my stay.

Thursday, March 3, 2011

Day 62: Acheived is the glorious work

I know I scream petulant bastard. Sorry 'bout it.
Disco Leopard: Thrifted. I've gotten over the itchyness. I'm in love. Desperately in love with a sweater. It shines in all forms of light and plays with you in the dark. It's perfection in sweater form.
Dress (worn underneath): Forever 21. I'm thankful for this blog because it's helped me realize how small my pool of stores is. I need new stores, I'm bored with my mediocrity. Suggestions, please.
Tights/socks: Target. I think I'm the only person who considers this look subtle. But I full heart'dly do. I know that's not a word, by the way.
Belt: Thrifted. The silver is magnificent against the disco leopard. But, few things aren't.
Shoes: Old Navy. Again, sorry.

Wednesday, March 2, 2011

Day 61: Just old lies.

I would say I'm concerned that the cat will steal my focus in EVERY picture at my dads. But I think that goes without saying. I mean, it's a cat. Cats are naturally attention seeking while looking like they hate attention. I'm not competition.
Blouse: Forever 21. I've never worn this on the blog, mostly because I hate tank tops with a deep passion and also because I never see a good opportunity for such a fancy looking blouse. I consider my self much too casual.
Sweater: Delia's. This hasn't been featured either. I'm loving it. It's so obvious looking. So easy and sort of has the expression of "well, duh"
Skirt: American Eagle. I love how this looks like a napkin. A napkin gone right.
Belt: A little bit of glamor in an otherwise chill outfit. I always need that bit of glitter.
Tights: Target.
Shoes: Old Navy. I forgot other shoes for while I'm at my dads, so till Sunday you'll be enjoying these beaut's.

Tuesday, March 1, 2011

Day 60: The bible didn't mention us

Ignore my rubbish in the corner. I was on my way to the bank (WOO PARTY!) when I realized I had to take the picture. Hence the sunglasses and horrid hair. All for your pleasure, of course.
Sweater: Old Navy. This sweater just breathes Spring to me. It's light but long sleeved and green but dark and rich. The print is simple but undefined and the cut is the easiest thing in the world. I'm gushing, but this sweater damn near perfect to me.
Skirt: American Eagle. This may be the first time that you're seeing this skirt in its entirety. If it's not ignore my previous statement. I'm digging this skirt for spring, though and I'm loving how poof'd it perennially is. It does not sway to my ever changing moods.
Shirt: RENT shirt, so it may be assumed it is from Broadway Across America. If anyone knows differently, please inform me! I was called a ho multiple times because they thought the shirt meant that I am "FOR RENT". My peers are clearly both clever and respectable.
Glasses: Target dollar section. It seems necessary to include the dollar section part every time, right?
Necklace: Old Navy. Oh this inglorious bastard.
Socks/tights: Target. I accidentally paired these socks with this skirt, but I'm pleased with how it looks.
Shoes: Old Navy. I'm sorry for the inordinate amount of Old Navy in this outfit. But it's so easy.
Rubbish is just my Easy purse and a black Forever 21 jacket.
