Day 59: Life is muffins and jam

A reenactment of prof. Plum with a female lead. I was asked at least a dozen times today "IS IT PURPLE DAY?!?!?!" Clearly wearing more then one item of clothes that are the same color means the day is themed. Good to know.
Sweater: Thrifted. This wild beast is perfect. I can't contain it. I want to wear it with my disco pants SO BAD. I just wasn't feeling them this morning.
Skirt: Forever 21. First day of school skirt. Life goes on.
Tights/socks: Target. I'm starting to get insecure about my legwear. It is almost too consistent. Someone, call for a change.
Single Strand: Vintage, my grandmothers.
Hair Clip: Goody Barettes.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls.

Day 58: I'm a drunken runt.

A shining star across my chest. The boots are untied because I was in such a hurry to take this. Ooops. I saw Pride and Prejudice as a play last night. This outfit made me feel, ahem, scandalous.
Sequin top: Thrifted. I'm so desperately in love with this top. I don't like calling them 'tops' but this really is one. It makes me so happy. It sparkles so cheerily.
Dress (under everything): H&M. I'm finally warm! The spring. It is near.
Lace button down: H&M. I love my Hufflepuff look.
Purse: Thrifted. I just feel so classy. This purse is too easy.
Tights/socks: Target. Beauty is so simple.
Shoes: Target. These were SO uncomfortable while ushering at the play. I'm gonna be like Oprah and call these "Sitting down shoes".

Day 57: Eco-efficient.

This outfit is the height of my simplicity and charm (ROOM WITH A VIEW REFERENCE!) I'm sorry for the awkward bangs and painfully pale legs.
Sweater: Urban Outfitters. I am so, so happy in this sweater, I had to wear jeans (gasp!) last night for an event and my legs have never been so unhappy. This was in reaction to all of the restriction.
Dress (under sweater): Delia's. This dress is becoming too easy.
Pins: The leaf one is thrifted and is mostly hidden under the flower, which is vintage from my grandmother.
Shoes: Old Navy. I'm unashamed to say I'm ashamed that I shop at Old Navy. This store has started sucking so much. (Started? Who am I kidding.)

Day 56: Rosary, brosary.

The tights and the skirt totes match...Right? I LOVE wearing this skirt over dresses. It's so easy and it gets to flooofy. I'm also wearing a somewhat invisible rosary. My catholic friend wasn't pleased but my atheist friend gave it to me. What's a girl to do?
Skirt: Delia's. I love this skirt. But it's so short and it's awkward when you wear it waist length. I love it, anyway. I bought it for Florida last year and it was wonderful on the beach.
Dress: Forever 21. I know I wear this dress all of the time so there's really nothing to say about it, but I can't get over it. I love everything about it. EXCEPT for the painful sleeves. But I've already ranted about this.
Sweater: Thrifted. Makes me so happy. It's heavenly.
Tights: J. Crew. I'm so fancy in these tights. Life is rich when you wear clothes that make you feel rich...and when you're fulfilled and shit.
Socks: Urban Outfitters. My voice teacher made the excellent point that these would have worked better if they were striped in a nice maroon. Oh well.
Purse/necklaces: Thrifted.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls.

Day 55: Cold, cold. Would you light my candle?

It was ice raining when I took this picture...YAY! Freezing rain! Almost bare legs! Never ending winter that is no longer a wonderland! This outfit is as dull and predictable as the weather.
Sweater shirt (under sweater): H&M. I love this sweater and normally this look would be more pleasing but for some reason this outfit looks off to me. And I mostly blame this sweater shirt.
Dress: Target, I think. It was Johannah's and the whereabouts are sketchy. I love this dress because the color is attacking and the pockets are ridiculous. What else does a girl in my position need?
Tights/socks: Target. These tights/socks are honestly such a large comfort to me. This outfit is comparable to how my peers feel in sweats.
Sweater: Urban Outfitters. This may be one of the first days where I haven't worn a thrifted item in a long time. Pride or scorn?
Pearls: Thrifted.At this point, obviously.
Shoes: Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls.

Day 54: Tradition!

I'm sick of society. I'll wear two colors of the same print if I damn well please.
Button down shirt: Thrifted. I think this shirt is delicious. It's heavy and luscious.
Blouse: Forever 21. I think this shirt is beautiful, thus it will incorrectly be called a blouse when it is more of a tunic.
Dress (worn under everything else): American Apparel. It folded really awkwardly and looked way shorter than intended all day due to the layers. Sometimes layering is better in thought than practice.
Single strand: Vintage, my grandmothers.
Purse: Thrifted. So easy and classy feeling. I wore this to an appointment. Otherwise I wouldn't have had a purse today because I can't wear bags to class.
Tights/socks: Target.
Shoes: Old Navy.

Day 53: Oh oh bisexual rain.

I'm so sick of night pictures, I promise I'll return to the dreary grey, day time shots again soon! I miss how I look in that ever so effervescent light.
Shorts: Delia's. I know,  they are almost completely covered by the over sized man sweater but that's part of the charm! Some people called me "slutty" but I said no to the slut shaming culture that we live in and yes to freedom. *Douchey rant concluded*
Sweater: H&M men's section. Happiness is living in a sweater and never having to leave it. Ever.
Purse: Thrifted. This bag took a while to truly grow on me but I'm ever so slightly obsessed with it now.
Pin: Vintage, my grandmothers. I wear this too much. But who really cares when it's this pretty?
Tights/socks: Target.
Shoes: Target. These get their own credit because HEY LOOK, NOT WEARING THEM WITH PANTS! Though according to Chandler Bing, "Pants are shorts, but longer"
